Mr. Ivan Chee is a Forensic Clinician and Forensic Neuropsychometrician. He received his Master of Arts (M.A.) in Psychology from Medaille College in upstate New York. He is currently a doctoral candidate at Alliant International University pursing a Doctor of Psychology (Psy.D.) degree. Mr. Chee is an alumnus of the University of North Texas, where he graduated magna cum laude (high honors) with a Bachelors degree in Health and Human Services. Prior to receiving his Bachelor's degree, he also studied Substance Abuse Counseling at Eastfield College. From there, he graduated with both an Associate of Applied Sciences (A.A.S.) in Substance Abuse Counseling, and a certificate in Mental Health & Substance Abuse Prevention, both with high honors.
Mr. Chee works with children, adolescents, and adults, particularly those from at-risk communities and those with behavioral struggles. He has consulted on many juvenile forensic cases in both an evaluation/assessment and treatment context. He is also a forensic neuropsychometrician. He also has a special interest in community and program development.
As for forensic practice, Mr. Chee is a court-appointed mediator, having completed training pursuant to Chapter 154.052 (a) Texas Civil Practice and Remedies Code and the standards of the Texas Mediation Trainers Roundtable. He is also a contracted visitation supervisor with the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services (DFPS), as well as a court appointed visitation supervisor with cases spanning several Texas counties.
He provides psychological evaluation and treatment services at correctional facilities in Kentucky through Shelton Forensic Solutions as well as treatment at our outpatient locations.
