Dr. Felicia Meyers is a Licensed Psychologist. She earned a Masters (M.A.) degree and a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Clinical Psychology from the University of the Cumberlands, after acquiring her undergraduate degree in Psychology at Eastern Kentucky University. Additionally, she completed a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CADC) program at Union College.
She has experience working in multiple mental health settings including inpatient psychiatric and long-term care facilities as well as providing home-based and school-based interventions. She has experience assessing Competency to Stand Trial through state-run psychiatric hospitals as well as jail-triage work through community mental health centers.
Dr. Meyers has worked for the Department of Community Based Services (DCBS), where she performed case investigations as well as ongoing case evaluation and prepared and presented investigative findings in court.
She has particular skill and interest in substance abuse, autism, and other intellectual and developmental disabilities and is skilled in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) among other treatment modalities.
She performs assessments and provides outpatient psychological services for Shelton Forensic Solutions.
