Dr. Donala K. Jordan is a Licensed Psychologist. After earning his Bachelors Degree in Psychology at the University of Arkansas - Pine Bluff, Dr. Jordan graduated with a Doctor of Clinical Psychology (Psy.D.) from the Minnesota School of Professional Psychology (APA Accredited Program). He completed an APA-accredited internship at South Arkansas Regional Health Center, where he performed integrated behavioral health and forensic psychological assessments.
Dr. Jordan is certified by the state of Arkansas to provide court-ordered fitness to proceed, criminal responsibility, and risk assessments for both adult and juvenile defendants in criminal courts. He also has experience evaluating adults and children for family courts and Child Protective Services (CPS).
He has served as faculty and Director of Mental Wellness at the Arkansas College of Osteopathic Medicine. In addition to his expertise in integrated behavioral health, he has substantial experience working with children who are intellectually, neurologically, developmentally, or physically challenged. A substantial amount of his training, research, and experience has involved racially and culturally diverse populations. Dr. Jordan has years of experience working in a wide array of environments including healthcare, community mental health, inpatient psychiatric hospitals, and private behavioral health treatment and consulting practices.
Dr. Jordan's clinical and research interests include forensic psychological assessment, integrated healthcare and behavioral medicine, psychodynamic psychotherapy, providing culturally competent interventions, and communicating the usefulness of psychology through community outreach endeavors.
Dr. Jordan is a member of the American Psychological Association (APA) and the Arkansas Psychological Association (ArPA). Within ArPA, he is Chair of the Diversity Committee and a member of the Executive Committee.
He provides integrated behavioral health and forensic evaluations through Shelton Forensic Solutions.
