Dr. Christie Kincaid is a Licensed Psychologist in Kentucky. She earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) is English from Concord University in West Virginia. Following this, she earned a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Forensic Psychology at Argosy University, Washington, DC and an M.A. in Clinical Psychology and a Doctor of Psychology (Psy.D.) degree in Clinical Psychology, both from the American School of Professional Psychology at Argosy University in Arlington, VA. She completed a pre-doctoral internship in a community mental health practice in Eastern KY, where she completed assessments and psychotherapy with individuals, groups, and families, as well as crisis management in outpatient and short-term inpatient settings. Dr. Kincaid also completed pre-doctoral training rotations in forensic neuropsychological assessment and court-ordered psychotherapy with youth on probation.
In addition, she has experience with therapeutic reunification of families who have been involved in court-related custody disputes. She is a member of the American Psychological Association (APA) and Kentucky Psychological Association (KPA), and she holds the Health Service Provider (HSP) distinction by the Kentucky Board of Examiners of Psychology. Finally, Dr. Kincaid's areas of clinical focus include court-involved therapy and assessment, first responder care, and trauma-informed care. She performs forensic assessment and evaluation and provides Expert Witness Testimony for Shelton Forensic Solutions.
